Footing and slab preparation is a precise job. The engineer has specified widths, depths, pier diameters and founding conditions, and the certifier will check them. Civil Scope Earthworks excavates footings and prepares slabs for builders across Campbelltown, Camden, Liverpool and the Macarthur region, and our clients trust us to get it right first time.
One site manager described it well: we were engaged to carry out all slab and footing excavation, prepare the sub-base for all concrete on site, and load and truck the excess spoil away, plus day works when needed. That is exactly the scope we are built for.
We bring the right excavator and auger sizes for the job, check levels as we go, and keep the excavations clean and protected until inspection.
Built to the engineer's drawings
Every footing job starts with the structural drawings and soil report. We confirm dimensions, founding depths and pier diameters, set out from the builder's pegs, and check depths as we go. If ground conditions differ from the report, we stop and flag it so your engineer can advise before concrete goes in.

Once footings are dug, we prepare the slab area: trimming to level, placing and compacting sub-base, and making sure edge thickenings and set-downs are where they should be. The result is a pad the concreter can form up on without rework.
For residential and commercial builders
We work for volume and custom home builders, owner-builders and commercial builders. Repeat clients value that we turn up when booked, communicate when something changes, and leave the site tidy.
